Organizational Effectiveness Survey FAQ's
How will the results of the survey be graded (points, letter grade or what)?
The organization / department will be evaluated as:
· Green no action necessary
· Yellow
caution; need for assessment
· Red immediate corrective action
required
Will Managers be provided summarized survey results from their staff?
All results will be shared with all co-workers and will include summarized results.
Will Managers be provided survey summary data that will allow them to compare
the results from their functional area to the department as a whole?
If the data is summarized for each functional area, then the results can be compared
with results from other departmental areas.
Are co-workers expected to complete the survey on their own or company time?
The survey can to be completed on company time or on your own
time, and is estimated to take 15-20 minutes.
Will the results of the survey be shared with the co-workers? If so, what information
will be shared? How long after the close of the survey can co-workers expect
to learn about the results?
The results will be shared with the all co-workers. The
total process will take approximately 4 to 6 weeks to complete, including the
collection of the surveys, tabulation and evaluation of the survey results, and distribution and presentation of the
survey results to co-workers.
What are the duties/responsibilities of the "Managers"?
The
only role of the (Managers) will be to ensure that each co-worker
completes their web survey. Managers may be required to remind
co-workers to go to http://express-oes.com
to take the survey if the number of submitted surveys to be
low.
What do we plan to tell the employees about our plans to make changes to
policies/ procedures based on their survey inputs?
Typically, from the results
that show a red or yellow indicator light, action plans will need to be developed, assigned and executed to move the results
to green. The Managers along with the organizational leadership will determine to what extent
the survey results will be incorporated into the policies/procedures, if any.
